Description:

ROBERTS 7200 Wall Base Adhesive is a superior grade, solvent free and zero Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) product with excellent holding power and great wet suction. The acrylic base formula of this adhesive is non-staining for easy cleanup, features a strong initial grab for fast installation and is odorless when dry. This adhesive has anti-microbial protection to prevent growth of bacteria and mold. It meets the strict requirements of the South Coast Air Quality Management District and may contribute one LEED point as a low emitting adhesive.

Restrictions:

-For interior installations only.

-Do not install when ambient temperature is not between 60ºF & 95ºF.

-Do not install when ambient relative humidity is above 65%.

-It is the sole responsibility of the installer to determine the suitability and compatibility of the adhesive for the user’s intended use.

Instructions:

Traditional Cove Base Application:

Adhesive, wall base and job site must be conditioned at 65ºF - 80ºF for 48 hours before and after installation.
Use only on structurally sound surfaces, dry wall, concrete block, brick, plywood, paneling, masonry, plaster, etc.
Apply to surfaces that are clean, dry, and free from dust, wax and grease. Remove loose paint, plaster, old adhesive and other contaminates that would interfere with adhesion.
Cement or plaster must be thoroughly seasoned and dry.
With a 1/8" square or V-notched spreader, spread on back of base or wall surface.
Press base firmly into place immediately after application of adhesive.
Wrapped base or rolled base should lay flat for 24 hours before application.
For best results, it is recommended to wipe the back of rubber wall base with Mineral Spirits to remove residual mold release from manufacture.

FRP Adhesive Application

This application must be installed over a porous substrate.

Follow the FRP panel manufacturer’s installation instructions for maintaining proper spacing and gaps between panels, walls, ceilings, floors, adjacent substrates and around mechanical fixtures.

Ensure that there is no residue on the panel or wall.

Apply Fusion X to the wall using a 1/8" V-notched trowel. Trowel in straight lines.
Install the panel within ten (10) minutes and roll with a three-section roller. Always roll from the middle of the panel to the edges to prevent entrapped air and promote better adhesion.

Clean-up

Remove wet adhesive immediately with a damp cloth. Use Mineral Spirits or Parabond® M-315 Cleaner to remove dried adhesive.
